Dominik was a low-level demon who offered his services to Morrigan, hoping to rise in power along with her. He later became obsessed with breaking up Wyatt Halliwell and Dylan Peterson, hoping the turn the latter to evil so they could be together. He was vanquished by the pair after his plans were discovered.
History[]
Early Life[]
Dominik was once part of a demonic clan, though he left them to pursue his own success and felt no loyalty toward them.
Infiltrating P3[]
Seeking to join the ranks of Morrigan, Dominik and his friend Kovar went to her lair to offer their services. The sorceress agreed to listen to their proposal, but soon vanquished Kovar for his rudeness and violent outburst. Dominik feared for his own life, but Morrigan decided to spare him and soon discovered he was immune to her luring. Interested by this, Morrigan gave him a chance to prove himself by infiltrating the lives of the Halliwells to find a way to destroy them.
Dominik quickly found his way into the lives of the cousins by getting hired as a bartender for the reopened P3 run by Penny Halliwell. He quickly began observing the Halliwells, learning all he could.
Heart of Darkness[]
Seeing an opportunity to turn one of the Halliwells evil, Morrigan had Dominik deliver a potion from her Grimoire known as the Heart of Darkness to the warlock Luke. After saving Luke from Aubrey Collins, Dominik gave him the potion and explained how to use it.
Dominik was pleased after learning that Grace had become a warlock. He was also glad that Luke was vanquished, thus erasing any trail leading back to him. When Dylan arrived at P3 looking for Wyatt, Dominik set out to befriend him, in hopes of ultimately seducing him and tearing him and Wyatt apart.
Destroying Wyatt and Dylan[]
Dominik later spied on Wyatt and Dylan during an argument at P3, where he learned that Wyatt was still hesitant about his sexuality. Knowing that his co-worker Faye had feelings for Wyatt since being a teenager, he planned on destroying the couple by having Wyatt cheat on Dylan with her. He reported back to Morrigan, who agreed with the plan and handed him the sin of lust to achieve his plans.
After Dominik infected Wyatt with the sin, he lured him to the club under false pretences, knowing Faye would be there. Meanwhile, he went to Dylan to play the supporting friend and convinced him to go to P3 as well. Once they arrived, they discovered Wyatt had given into his lust and had sex with Faye, which wrecked Dylan emotionally and led to him breaking up with Wyatt. Dominik went back to Morrigan and learned she would strike at the upcoming wedding, while he planned to use the Heart of Darkness to lure Dylan to the side of evil.
The Wedding[]
Prior to the wedding of Melinda Halliwell and Ryan Lancaster, Morrigan sent Dominik to find Grace Mitchell, as they planned to use her as a distraction. He tracked her down and convinced her to side with them. Meanwhile, he started dating Dylan and used the Heart of Darkness on him, causing increased aggression. Wyatt noticed the change and realized that something was magically affecting Dylan, so he brew a potion to expel the evil. Once he returned to normal, Dylan revealed that Dominik was behind everything.
At the wedding, Morrigan revealed to Dominik that his cover was blown and proceeded to betray him, as she did not care for his increasing arrogance and desire to have it all. Dominik noted that Dylan could still be his if Wyatt died, because he still had some of the potion left.
Dominik pondered if Dylan was worth risking his life and decided he had come too far to give up. He was then confronted by Wyatt after the battle against the Morrigan was over. Dominik managed to overwhelm Wyatt with his blood boiling, though he was stopped by Dylan. Dominik suggested that Dylan took the Heart of Darkness willingly so they could be together, though Dylan replied that he would never choose to be a demon. He then pushed Dominik toward Wyatt, allowing the latter to vanquish him with a blast from Excalibur.
Powers and Abilities[]
Active Powers
- Shredding: The ability to teleport by dispersing one's molecules and reassembling elsewhere.
- Blood Boiling: The ability to increase the temperature of blood, causing extreme pain and eventual death.
- Energy Sparks: The ability to fire red energy sparks from one's hands. Dominik was granted this power by Morrigan to aid him in their confrontation with the Halliwells.
