Rex was a demonic child. Along with his brothers, he sought to resurrect his father Pazuzu by collecting the power of magical children with an amulet.
History[]
Rex and his brothers managed to capture several witch children while being hunted by Caleb and his Ice Cream Truck. When the Elders asked the Chosen to investigate, they cast a spell to track them, which inadvertently turned Duncan into a child. Pazuzu was then alerted to a powerful magical child and sent Rex and the others after him.
The Chosen, Caleb and Gretchen attempted to lure the demons into a trap at an arcade. However, Rex was prepared for this and managed to destroy the Ice Cream Truck before escaping. Duncan followed the demons, though Pazuzu sensed his presence. Rex and the others hunted him down, though the Chosen arrived in time to save him.
Billie managed to vanquish the other demons with a wave of telekinetic energy, though Rex tried to escape. Caleb then hit him with a truck. Angered, Rex rose to his feet and began channeling his father's power to spread corrupting fog. However, as a child, Duncan was immune and managed to grab the amulet, which caused an explosion of light which evaporated Rex.
Powers and Abilities[]
Active Powers
- Thermokinesis: The ability to manipulate temperature with the mind. Rex could project heat from his hands, which he could use to severely burn victims and produce powerful heatwaves.
Passive Powers
- High Resistance: The ability to be highly resistant to physical and magical harm.
- Regeneration: The ability to almost instantly heal from physical harm and injuries.
Through Amulet
- Fog Generation: The ability to generate fog within a certain area. By using his father's amulet, Rex could spread mystical fog to corrupt others and block attacks.
